Privacy statement for evenfold.studio and enquiries to the studio. Last updated: 28 October 2026.

Who is responsible

Evenfold Studio, a sole proprietorship of Mitchel Koopmans, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42165938, is the controller for the personal data described here. The business address is not published on this website; it is available on request. Contact: info@evenfold.studio.

What is collected

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, optional business name and the answers you give about your project. When you email me: your email address and what you write. When you visit the site: technical data your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which hosting and security providers process to deliver the site.

Why, and on what legal basis

Enquiries and emails are used to reply, prepare a quote and, if we work together, run the project — the legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and performing it (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Invoices and project records are kept because tax law requires it (art. 6(1)(c)). Technical data is processed to keep the site available and secure, and to block spam and abuse (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)).

Who receives it

Your data is not sold or used for advertising. It is processed on my behalf by the providers that make the site work: Lovable (hosting and website platform), its cloud database provider Supabase (storing enquiries), Lovable's email service (sending the enquiry confirmation and notification), Cloudflare (the Turnstile spam check on the enquiry form) and Google Fonts (delivering the typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Storage on your device

The site stores a few functional preferences in your browser: your theme, your language, that you have seen the cookie notice, and that the opening animation has played in this session. Cloudflare Turnstile may set its own functional cookie for the security check. There are no advertising or profiling cookies. Visit statistics, where collected, are basic and aggregated by the hosting platform.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that are closed without leading to a project are deleted automatically from the website's database 12 months after the last contact, by a daily clean-up. Copies of the enquiry emails in my mailbox are deleted by hand on the same schedule, and short-lived technical backups kept by the hosting provider expire on their own cycle. Data from projects is kept for as long as the work and any care plan run; invoices and the related records are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time, unless the law requires me to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy to take elsewhere (portability), and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@evenfold.studio; I respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your own country.

This statement and consent

Reading or acknowledging this statement is not consent, and nothing on this site relies on consent as its legal basis. If that ever changes, you will be asked separately, and you will be able to withdraw consent at any time.
